Dear OCMRS* Members,

Wish the Year 2011-2012 have brought you blessing happiness and fruitful achievements. Many of you are eagerly anticipating the upcoming ENC Conference held in Miami Florida. It is our great pleasure to invite you to join the Chinese Social Events during ENC, at which you can listen to the insightful talks by preeminent Chinese MR experts, meet old and new friends, and enjoy the hospitality and fun.

The events are arranged as following (Please check the attached flyer for detailed schedule).

On Monday April 15, everyone is welcomed by a decent lunch provided by Dr. Jinshan Wang (location will be posted on site).

In the evening of Wednesday April 18, we will gather in the Winsor/Sandringham Room on the second floor of International Hotel and listen to the talks given by the experts in different fields of magnetic resonance.

The speakers include the  Dr. Yi-Qiao Song (Chair of OCMRS), Dr. Chaohui Ye (CAS Academician), Dr. Jinshan Wang (CEO of JS Research), Dr. Zhehong Gan (Scholar Scientist at NHFML), and Dr. Shengtian Yang (Scientist at Novartis). From the talks you will learn the history and latest progress of MR research related to and led by our fellow Chinese. You are welcome to interact with these experts in person and ask them any question during or after the talks.

After the talks, Dr. Jun Hu will lead us into a laughing party of fun games (the games are kept secret until the event). Plenty of social time will be left for all attendants and some light refreshment will be provided during the gathering.

Looking forward to seeing you at the events during ENC.

*The Oversea Chinese Magnetic Resonance Society (OCMRS) -- formerly known as the Oversea Chinese Magnetic Resonance Association (OCMRA) -- is planning a big step in this year: the transition into a formal nonprofit organization. As a NPO, OCMRS will serve the Chinese community better and more efficiently. This issue will be discussed briefly during the gathering on Wednesday. All suggestions and participation are welcome.

Sincerely, your event organizer
